If the resulting number is from 1 to 7 or 19 to 28 then the day is considered inauspicious. If the resultant numbers between 8 to 18 are auspicious.
If on both sides of a house in the horoscope of that particular day malefic planets are present then it is considered to be an inauspicious yoga. House construction should not be started on that day.

When Sun just crosses 2,11,20 and 29th Degree in each Zodiac sign then it is inauspicious to start the work. If construction work is started during that time fire accidents might happen. Also on the day when Sun enters from one Zodiac to another Zodiac construction work should not be started.

If weak Moon is present in the ascendant and Mars is situated in the eighth house then starting construction work on that particular day leads to the abrupt stoppage of the work without completion.
If Mars is situated in Magha, Moola, Pushya, Purva Falguni, Hasta and Revati then starting the work on that day might cause fire-related accidents. If Mars is situated on Moola, Krittika, Poorva Falguni, Hasta, Magha, Purvashadha or Revati on a Tuesday then starting a construction work can cause fire accidents and might affect children of the house in one or the other way. If both Sun and Moon are situated in Krittika constellation then it is inauspicious to begin work.
If Saturn is situated in Jyeshtha, Anuradha, Bharani, Swati, Purva Bhadrapada, Purva Falguni and Ghanishtha on a Saturday then starting the construction work might lead to poverty and obstacles.
